My name is Chris Stanley and I have the absolute privilege of teaching as well as coaching here at Brazos Middle School, go Cougs!
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University where I played football for the Cardinals and coached from 2017-2018. This experience helped me develop my passion for leading, teaching and encouraging our children to become exceptional leaders and the ability and passion to perform at a higher level in and out of the classroom.
This year I will be teaching 6th and 7th grade Social Studies as well as Physical Education. In addition to teaching, I will also be coaching Defensive Line for our Cougars defense. This will be my second year teaching overall after leaving Baytown Sterling High School last year.
I grew up in Humble, TX with an older sister who had a full childhood of making sure I stayed out of trouble. I was raised by 2 parents as well as 2 very involved Grandparents, all of whom I stay in constant touch with. I later moved in with my Aunt and Uncle in Anahuac, TX from where I graduated High School in 2015.
