School Board Election - May 4, 2024

About the Board of Trustees

The Brazos ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven members. Board members shall be elected for three-year terms, with elections conducted annually. Election of Board members shall be by position. After each canvass of the election, the board will elect a president, vice-president and secretary to serve a one-year term.

The next Board of Trustees election is scheduled for May 4, 2024. The positions up for election are 4 and 5.

Brazos ISD holds joint elections with the City of Wallis.

Terms and Election Schedule

Board members shall be elected for three-year terms, with elections conducted annually, as follows:

The election for positions 1, 2, and 3 shall be held in 2026, 2029, 2032 and in three-year intervals thereafter.

The election for positions 4 and 5 shall be held in 2024, 2027, 2030 and in three-year intervals thereafter.

The election for positions 6 and 7 shall be held in 2025, 2028, 2031 and in three-year intervals thereafter.
