My name is Dawn Prihoda. This will be my 16th year in Education! I really enjoy teaching middle school science. When I decided teach, I gravitated toward science! I love knowing how the world around me works. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Alan for the last 32 years and we have two sons, Dalton and Cade. I have one dog, Gizmo and two cats, Roscoe and Boscoe. I love to cook, fish, camp, watch movies, and anything water related. I am so looking forward to the upcoming school year. My Philosophy…
Science is more than just a discipline; it is a way of knowing, thinking and using that knowledge to explain the world around us. Some of you may think that you don't like science, or that it is too hard for you. Others already know that science is one of your favorite classes. The lessons and activities in my classroom are created to provide you with multiple opportunities for learning with a hands-on, minds-on design.
