Welcome!

2025-2026 School Year

Welcome to Mrs. Divin's Class!

For the 2025-2026 school year, I will be teaching English 2, English 2 Honors, Debate and Yearbook.

This is my 20th year in education. I have spent 14 years teaching at Brazos High. I graduated from Brazos in 2001. I received my Bachelor's degree in English from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. I then received my Masters in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Grand Canyon University. I have taught at Brazos, Royal, Sealy, and I returned in Brazos in the fall of 2014.

I am here to help your student.  Please let me know what I can do to help your child be successful.

If you need to get in contact with me, please email at rdivin@brazosisd.net.  You may also call the school (979-478-6001), but I am quicker at responding if you email.

What supplies will you need for my class?

  • writing utensils (black, blue or pencils)
  • a composition notebook
  • Glue OR Tape
  • Markers, map pencils, OR crayons
  • Scissors

Composition notebooks may be kept in my classroom if you want one less thing to worry about. It will be needed for class each and every day though.

Our vision:

BRAZOS ISD inspires each student to become a productive citizen who demonstrates leadership, passion, and self-reliability. We foster a culture of respect, community, perseverance, and achievement.
