Welcome to the Fall '23 Semester! My name is Chris Bright and I'm beginning my 2nd year as a Special Education teacher at Brazos High School and my 4th year overall in the district. Aside from Special Education Inclusion, I am a Varsity Safeties Coach, Special Teams Coordinator and the Head Baseball Coach. Last year I was blessed to have been a part of a 9 - 4 Regional Quarterfinalist football team. Our Brazos Baseball Team was also the first team since 2002 to advance past the Bi-District Round in baseball! It was a great year, but I'm ready to build on those successes, and take the next step!
I have amazing wife of 12 years, Brittain, who teaches 5th Grade at Creech Elementary in Katy. I also have an 10 year old, Beau, a 5 year old, Brooks, and a 2 year old girl, Caleigh! We love the outdoors! We love to camp and fish in the summer, and hunt in the fall. I know I live in Astros/Texans country, but I am a HUGE Texas Rangers/Dallas Cowboys fan!
I am an educator because I love kids! I want to make a positive difference in the lives of all students that I encounter. I am beyond excited for the new school year and ready to get to work!
