Hello!
My name is Ashley Brandes, and I am so excited to be teaching Math and Science in first grade this year. I started my teaching career in 2014. I have taught K-3 reading and math intervention as well as kindergarten and first grade. I graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Applied Digital Learning from Lamar University. I am certified to teach grades K-6, grades 4-12 English Language Arts and Reading, and English as a Second Language (ESL). I enjoy playing board games, watching sports and crafting. I love to travel with my family and spend time with my husband and our fur babies. I am so excited to have a fantastic year in first grade!
