Hello :)
I am Dawn Mangrum. I will be teaching English 2, 3, & 4, Finance Math, Geometry, World History, Government/Economics, Employability Skills, Pre-Vocational and Vocational Skills. I will also be teaching Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies for BMS students. I am the UIL Spelling Coach.
I received an Associate of Arts degree from Wharton County Jr. College and a Bachelors degree from Sam Houston State University. I began working on my masters at Lamar University/Beaumont. I have taught for 28 years and this is my 11th year with Brazos ISD. Prior to teaching at Brazos, I taught at Bridge City, Needville, and Sealy.
I graduated from Brazos High School in 1985. My daughters are Brazos graduates as well. I am truly blessed with an amazing family and I treasure spending time with them!!!
I absolutely love working with my students!!!! It gives me so much joy to see my students build upon their skills and become successful!!!!
