BMS Mission
Brazos Middle School students will remain actively engaged in the learning process as they acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to become responsible, contributing citizens within the local, state, national, and world community.  Brazos Middle School parents will remain actively involved as advocates for their children and supporters of the school programs and staff. Within a nurturing, safe environment, Brazos Middle School staff members will actively engage all students in the learning process and teach students to become critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and life-long learners.
BMS Vision

Welcome to Brazos Middle School!

We're proud to serve our students, families, and community with a warm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child can grow, achieve, and succeed.

This week’s Word in the Wild is oppose. To oppose means to disagree with or act against something or someone—to resist or fight against it.

In the Harry Potter stories, Harry and his friends often oppose the dark wizard Voldemort in exciting man versus man conflicts.

Keep your eyes open this week for the word oppose in games, contests, or the stories you read. Let’s see who can spot it in the wild!
