Ms. Allison - Welcome
Katie Allison

Hi BMS! My name is Ms. Allison and I am your school counselor. This is my fourth year at BMS and my 21st year in education. I'm very excited about the upcoming school year. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call or email me at any time.
Mission Statement
My goal is to empower all students to reach their highest potential, by providing a comprehensive school counseling program that can support students’ academic, career, personal, and social development. In addition, I plan to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, administrators, and other vested community stakeholders in an effort to help students recognize their interests, abilities, strengths, and potential for success.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling sessions are open to all students at Brazos Middle School. This service is provided as both a proactive individual planning service to aid students in their academic, career, and personal/social development, and as a responsive service to students' needs in these developmental areas. The school counselor will see students for individual counseling based on teacher, parent, counselor, and student referrals (self-referrals).
Our vision is to inspire each student to become a productive citizen who demonstrates leadership, passion, and self-reliability. We foster a culture of respect, community, perseverance, and achievement.
