My name is Cassidy Christ Matula.I am originally from Needville but currently live in Richmond. I have been in education since 2010. I am so excited about joining the Cougar family this year. I absolutely love being an educator and building relationships with my students and their family. I am looking forward to an amazing year and helping my students fall in love with reading and writing.
I am certified to teacher early elementary to eighth grade. Most of my career has been spent in sixth grade but I am looking forward to this new adventure.
I am married and have two wonderful children. My son will be joining me as a sixth grader at the middle school and my daughter is a freshman at WCJC in hopes of becoming a dental hygienist. We have a pup named Tuck that is our additional third child. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading and spending time at the beach.
I look forward to working with all the students, parents and teachers here at Brazos Middle School this year!
