Hi, I am Annie Mendieta, I am originally from Brownsville, Texas and moved to this area in 2015. I have an associate’s degree in Art of Teaching Early childhood – 6th grade, and a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Brownsville. I am certified to teach core subjects EC-6th grade, and English as a second language EC-6th grade. I have worked in education since 2014 at first as a paraprofessional then as a teacher. This will be my fifth year teaching kindergarten in Brazos Elementary. I am excited for this new school year, and look forward to meeting every one of you. My husband and I are parents to a little girl, and at the moment all my extra time is being run by her.
