Hello! My name is Mrs. Stacy Hudgins! I am so excited to be the Brazos Elementary counselor! I have a passion for loving students and nurturing the whole child. Academic success is very important in this business, but it is my belief that a child must feel loved and respected before all else. If a child feels cared for and understood, he/she is set up for a bright future. It is my goal to continue to create a positive culture here at Brazos Elementary.

I went to Texas State University in San Marcos where I got my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I then attended Prairie View A & M where I obtained a Master's Degree in School Counseling. I have been in education since 2007. I am certified in Gifted and Talented and ESL as well.

Brazos I.S.D. holds a very special place in my heart because this is the district I attended from Kindergarten all the way through my senior year. I love our community, and I am honored to get to help build and shape the next generation of Mighty Brazos Cougars!
