This is my third year with Brazos ISD, but my twenty eighth year serving in some capacity in public/private education! I am blessed to be here serving the first grade students in our community!
My education career began in 1996 in Alief ISD after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Oklahoma Baptist University and completing two semesters towards my Master's at the University of Texas, Austin. Life then took my family to Boston, MA where I subsitute taught for three years.
I have taught kinder through eighth grade as a classroom teacher, dyslexia/reading interventionist, and ESL/ ELAR teacher!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband fishing, camping, crocheting, traveling, and visiting with our children and grandson.
My favorite past time is spending time at the coast!
It's going to be another fabulous year in first grade!
