This is my fourth year with Brazos ISD, but my twenty eighth year serving in some capacity in public/private education! I am blessed to be here serving the students in our community!
My education career began in 1996 in Alief ISD after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Oklahoma Baptist University and completing two semesters towards my Master's at the University of Texas, Austin. Life then took my family to Boston, MA where I substitute taught for three years.
I have taught kinder through eighth grade as a classroom teacher, dyslexia/reading interventionist, and/or ESL/ ELAR teacher! This is my first year as a special education teacher.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband helping at his restaurant, relaxing at the coast, gardening, traveling, volunteering, and visiting with our six adult children and grandsons.
I'm looking forward to another fabulous year at Brazos Elementary School!
