      There is almost too much information about financial aid, loan programs, and other helpful documents about college finances. 

      CollegeBoard CSS Program

      This is a program similar to FAFSA, but through College Board. Here you can read about how to get started creating a CSS Profile. Here you will find a list of participating colleges. And here is a presentation giving you a little bit more information.

      This is a site where students can create a free portfolio, making applying for scholarships that much easier! By creating a profile, you are also automatically entered to win a $2,000 scholarship.

    FAFSA helps your future school understand your financial situation so they may better determine how much financial aid you might qualify for.

    FAFSA is required for all graduating seniors. FAFSA opens every year on October 1st. We will set up accounts during school that day so you will be able to start filling out the form ASAP.

2025-2026 San Bernard Watershed Scholarship Program

Seniors - it is your generation to whom the future health and well-being of the San Bernard River watershed will be entrusted. FOR will provide $2000 scholarships ($1000 for 1st semester and $1000 for 2nd semester) toward actual college tuition and book expenses in the freshman year to selected individuals based on program guidelines.

Capital Farm Credit Youth Scholarship

Seniors - The Wallis American Legion Auxiliary Unit 200 will annually award one, $1,000.00 scholarship
to a graduating senior who is continuing their education.  If mailing, applicants must return completed scholarship application form to Joyce Giese and

2026 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Scholarship

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ scholarship application is completed entirely online. Applicants will upload supplemental documents when completing the online application. Then, a school official or counselor will complete a second portion of the application online.

Brazos ISD Education Foundation

The Brazos ISD Education Foundation is proud to award five $1,000 scholarships to celebrate the achievements, spirit, and future of our Cougar graduates. Each scholarship reflects a special part of the Cougar Legacy.

Requirements: 

Applicants must be in their Senior year at Brazos High School. 

Deadlines: 

Applications must be turned in by midnight on January 30th. 

*Students may apply for more than one scholarship if they meet the criteria for multiple. 

Winning recipients will be announced at the Brazos ISD Education Foundation Annual Gala on February 14, 2026. Those recipients will be notified in advance and their presence is required during the scholarship ceremony at the gala.

?? Red & Black Academic Excellence Scholarship – For the student who demonstrates exceptional academic achievement and a commitment to lifelong learning.
