Wallis American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship

Two scholarships are available to students who have a family member who was or is a veteran of the Armed Forces. This scholarship does require 2 letters of recommendation, so plan accordingly!

Hagan Scholarship

For students who attend public, private, charge, magnet, and STEM high schools and the applicant's 2022 adjusted gross household income must not have exceeded $100,000. Must graduated with a 3.5 GPA or higher, must enroll in an eligible college the first semester following graduation, must maintain a 4 year or less graduation schedule, must work 240 hours prior to commencement of the fall semester in college.

San Bernard Watershed Scholarship Program 

Seniors –– it is your generation to whom the future health and well being of the San Bernard River watershed will be entrusted. The Alpha Iota Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Scholarship - 

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is an international organization which promotes personal and professional growth of women educators and excellence in education. Friends of the River Scholarship Application - Posted September 26, 2023

Attached is the 2023-2024 application for the San Bernard River Watershed Scholarship for graduating high school seniors whose career goals would result in a positive impact on the environment.   The application is attached as a pdf and also as a Word document should a student prefer to complete the application in that format.

Any senior graduating from one of the 14 high schools in the watershed of the San Bernard River is eligible to apply for the $2000 scholarship and we again will be awarding six scholarships.  The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize and support those graduating seniors whose future plans will result in a positive impact on the environment.
