I received my B. A. from The University of Texas at Austin and completed my teacher certification coursework at the University of Houston Victoria. I am certified EC-4 with additional SpEd, GT, and ESL certifications. I worked for Lamar CISD for 16 years as a reading interventionist and later as a second grade teacher.
I joined the BES family in 2020 and have a deep passion for sharing the joy of literacy through both intervention and support in our classrooms and library.
