Amanda Jurek - Welcome

Hello Cougars! My name is Amanda Jurek. I will be teaching Math and Science this year, sharing my students with Mrs. Murphy for ELAR and Social Studies.

I graduated from WCJC with an AAS degree in 2012. In 2016, I graduated with a BAAS degree from Lamar University. Then in 2020, I graduated with a Masters of Science in Nutrition. 

My spouse and I, have three school aged boys. My boys keep me busy, and on the go. They are all extremely active in both 4-H / FFA as well as playing a variety of sports. 

I am very excited for the new school year, and excited to watch our 2nd graders grow.
