Discipline/Reward Practices

It is my goal for students to want to follow rules and do good intrinsically.  Positive reinforcement is one of the best motivators for students of all ages.  I make a point to catch students being good and really pile on the praise at that point.  Other students see what caused that praise from the teacher and naturally want to play along.  However, not all students are alike, so each group’s discipline and rewards may vary according to that group’s needs.
