I am the IPC (Integrated Physics & Chemistry), Physics / Honors Physics and Forensic Science teacher at Brazos High School.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences. After graduating, I spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua training teachers in environmental education. I was also a volunteer firefighter for five years and recently became a Texas Master Naturalist.

I am certified Secondary Science Composite (6-12) with a supplemental ESL certification. I have taught combinations of many of the high school science subjects for 20 years at several districts; however, I am happy to now call Brazos High School my home.

Feel free to contact me by phone, text or email with any questions or concerns you have! :)

"We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom. The world henceforth will be run by synthesizers, people able to put together the right information at the right time, think critically about it, and make important choices wisely." E.O. Wilson

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” Martin Luther King Jr.

Our vision:

BRAZOS ISD inspires each student to become a productive citizen who demonstrates leadership, passion, and self-reliability. We foster a culture of respect, community, perseverance, and achievement.
