Kindergarten:

Kindergarten Students have been busy learning about Database.  They learned that each box is a cell.  They learned that there are rows and columns.  And they learned how to find information in a database using the row and column labels.

First Grade:

The First Graders are working very hard on Word Processing.  They have been editing text using Cut, Copy, & Paste.  Their goal is to key in sentences and move the sentences around.  They also delete and change words.

Second Grade:

Second Grade is editing a word processing document.  They use Cut, Copy, & Paste.  The second graders key in text, then edit it.

Third Grade:

Third Graders are also editing.  They type a story and then cut, copy, and paste to move and replace text.  They also indent text with the TAB key.  We will expand on their word processing skills.  The third graders also had a keyboarding test.  This assessment reviewed all the keys and symbols on the keyboard.

Fourth Grade:

Fourth graders are also editing a word processing document that they created.  They are using the TAB key to indent paragraphs.  Then we added the left and right indent markers on the Ruler.  Next, fourth graders will create numbered and bulleted lists.

Fifth Grade:

Fifth Graders are working with Word Processing.  They learned how to insert a table, create a set number of columns and rows, create column titles, row titles, and insert data.
